The second most common count in this aisle, and the one with the most names. A preset is presumably a stored setting with a label on it, but no listing here says so, and no listing names a single one of the presets it counts.
One kind of thing, many words for it
The phrasings in this catalog run to 7 once the figure in front of each is set aside: presets, touch screen presets, cooking presets, one-touch presets, auto cook presets, auto-cook programs and auto menus. Some sit on identical figures on machines of different sizes. Others sit on different figures under nearly identical wording.
The most striking case is a countertop convection oven filed among the air fryers, whose listing states the largest preset figure in the catalog and names none of them. Against that sits a compact air fryer whose listing states the smallest preset figure and also names none of them.
A preset is not a function
The two counts appear on different machines and are almost never stated together. Where a listing states an in-one figure it usually states no preset figure, and where it states a preset figure it usually states no in-one figure. That makes the two counts look like alternatives rather than layers, but nothing in the listings confirms that reading.
A machine with a stored setting for a named dish and a machine with a timer that has a label on it would both be entitled to print the same figure, and neither listing would be saying anything false.
What is actually specified
Federal appliance rulemaking concerns energy use and test procedures rather than control-panel vocabulary. Neither of them defines a preset, and this site does not suggest otherwise.

Nothing anywhere in the catalog says whether a preset, a program, an auto menu and a one-touch preset are the same object.
